The Alouette Men’s Shed was formed in July of 2022 to provide men in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows communities with a place that would provide a positive environment for men to gather for both work and socialization.
The Alouette Men’s Shed is associated with the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie Seniors Network, which provides support services to 23 other seniors groups in the local community.
We have a workshop on the lower floor of the Ridge Church and run programs four times a week (Tuesday x 2, Wednesday, and Thursday – See Calendar of Events) as well as a social gather each and every Friday morning at “The Well” in Chances Casino.

In addition to the workshop, we also meet on Friday mornings at “The Well” in Chances Casino in Maple Ridge to have an informal time where men can gather to connect and to tell tall tales.
